Destruction

Destruction as a principle of creation. Collection of glass vases based on polygon division.

Just as all the objects around us are composed of molecules and atoms, images of pixels, so also the models consist of their units in computer modeling. For example, polygonal modeling represents the first kind of three-dimensional modeling which appeared when it was necessary to enter X, Y and Z coordinates manually on the keyboard to determine the points in three-dimensional space. The smoother object we want to get, the larger number of polygons there must be to make it. This microcosm is not visible to the human eye, but it forms the basis for the world around us.

The vase collection reflects the mold deformations that occur when reducing the number of polygons: from small changes of a structural grid to the significant transformation of the entire surface.
